What is The Thinklings?

The Thinklings is a special model for Christian focus groups, with the purpose of developing a Christian mind and character. It is a deliberate journey, that motivates, challenges and equips people to become responsible and capable ambassadors of Christ.

It has elements of training seminar, focus/discussion group, and so on, but for practical purposes in a church context, may be considered a specialty small group. It is important to emphasise that The Thinklings is not a special interest group (such as for those with an existing interest in apologetics or worldview), but something we consider biblically applicable for all. Similarly, there is no intellect or personality prerequisite: it's not an exclusive club for the articulate or charismatic... it's for the laity, young and old, and regardless of their Christian maturity.

Even so, certain types of people may themselves value The Thinklings more: those with a thirst for knowledge and understanding, a passion for truth and true perspective; current and aspiring leaders; parent and teenagers.

The Thinklings has substance and style. There's food and fellowship, learning and joking around. The entire model (including a flexible outline, resources and any handout materials) is being prepared by Think Christianity, and it will be a transferrable concept.
